About working balcony

Working balconies are often found in non-snow areas, and their main function is to use natural sunlight or wind to dry clothes. At the same time because it is a semi-outdoor space, gas meters and gas water heaters are often placed, and natural ventilation is used to prevent gas from accumulating in the space when it leaks, causing danger. In order to facilitate laundry work, washing machines, dryers, washing tanks, storage for storing laundry appliances, etc. are often placed in this space.

In snowy areas, because it is difficult to dry clothes when it snows, and the washing machines, dryers and other equipment installed there may be unusable or even damaged by snow and ice, this design is rarely adopted.

關於工作陽台

工作陽台常見於非下雪地區，主要的功能為利用自然的陽光或風力來晾曬衣服。同時由於其為半戶外空間，經常也擺放瓦斯錶與瓦斯熱水器，利用自然通風避免瓦斯洩漏時會累積在空間中，造成危險。為了洗衣工作的方便，洗衣機、烘衣機、洗衣槽、存放洗衣用具的儲物櫃等也常被設置在此空間。

在會下雪的地區，由於下雪時難以晾曬衣服，且設置於該處的洗衣機、烘衣機等設備可能無法使用、甚至因雪冰損壞，因此較少採此種設計。

根據工作陽台的機能豐富程度，可大致分為兩種類型的工作陽台。

• 工作間工作陽台，提供完整的洗衣與晾曬功能，並有檯面可對衣物做整理、且最好有一定的儲物空間。
• 簡易工作陽台，僅提供完整的洗衣與晾曬功能。
